Would you like to learn how to capture and create nature photography images like those seen in magazines and on Instagram? Please join me as I lead a photography workshop to a beautiful location in Bankhead National Forest. I have been doing nature workshops for 5 years and have been a professional educator for over 20 years. Many of my works can be found in national calendars such as the Brown Trout Calendars found in major department stores such as Walmart and Staples. This year's Wild and Scenic Alabama features one of my images on the front cover and 7 more inside the calendar.
This Basic Nature Photography Workshop will be for those who would love to get off of auto mode and really take control of your camera. We will learn about shutter speed, aperture, ISO, and the histogram. I also will show you many of the techniques that I use to create my landscape images. Later on in the day I show you how I process my images in Lightroom and Photoshop to achieve my final creations. We will be hiking about 1.5 miles round trip to get to the location and back. I would not consider this a strenuous hike but there will be a few steep places on the trail. There will be only 8 positions available so sign up fast before they all fill.
